Street Beets October 1st, 2011: Mystery Item 15 and How to Keep Warm Market Style!

Here is the Mystery Item 15. Seems simple enough right, but maybe not! If you know the answer, post a comment on our Regina Farmers' Market Co-operative page on Facebook to win some.

You may have been wondering what I meant by Keeping warm Farmers' Market style. Doris Crawford knits these ponchos that are warm, comfortable, and fasionable. I own a black one myself. She charges $45 for childrens' sizes and $110 for adult. Isn't the Rider colors one cool! They take a considerable amount of time to hand knit. Doris also offers a wide variety of sewing, children's aprons, adult aprons, bibs, baby knitting, kitchen towels, scarves, and much more. You can find her close to the corner of Smith & 12th.
Today Over the Hill Orchards is offering handmade Pumpkin Pie that is gluten free! You can find this rarity about the middle of Smith Street. Beetnik Lady is coming in today. There are still so many veggies left although Frontier appears to be having some van trouble so will not be attending today. Hope to see you there today at City Hall, 9:30 to 1:30!
