Today is the last Outdoor Market! We expect about 50 vendors out today and a wide variety of handmade or grown Saskatchewan goods available. We went past our usual Saturday before Thanksgiving as the Cathedral Center is booked today by the Cathedral Area Community Association for a big Garage Sale. After you come to Market I hope you go shopping there too. We would like to thank the City of Regina for giving us the City Hall space two Markets more! Thank you to Regina Downtown BID for allowing our parking meter guy, Chuck, to stay on an extra week. Thank you so much City of Regina residents who came out and supported local this year, we appreciate you!

What a year it has been! There have been floods, hail, and we were not able to move to the City Square Project as planned. It has been difficult on the vendors. Our location was not as well attended at City Hall as we had hoped, as it was now three blocks removed from the center of activity. We are a Co-operative organization and thus don't have strong advertising dollars. Everytime you move the Market, there are customers who don't where it is. We hope that over the next two years in our new space on 12th Avenue & Scarth Street we can rebuild our Downtown customer base, and take with us new customers we have gained at City Hall.

Winter Markets open next week October 22nd to December 17th, Saturdays only, 9:30 to 1:30 at 2900 13th Avenue. Quitye a number of Market Members have booked Winter Markets this year, you will see Christmas baking, chocolates, greenhouse and fall vegetables, meats, crafts, books, jewelry, hot lunches, honey, jams, and the list goes on.
